Infidel, you're clearly a very intelligent man.

However, what you've just written is complete bollocks...

Capitalists have no interest in everyone being middle class. Fucking me...I've heard it all now.

Infidel 10:43 Fri Apr 1
Re: A black day for the low paid...
What the Left does not seem to understand is that far from wanting the return of Victorian poor houses, we capitalists want everyone to become middle class, for the very obvious reason that we can sell more stuff to them and make more money.

Poor people are of no use to us. They can't buy anything and they need benefits, which means our taxes have to go up.

That's why we oppose any measure that drives up the number of poor people, like this criminally stupid increase in the minimum wage.

The Left wants more poor people. Poor people vote for Socialists; middle class people don't. So an increase in prosperity is extremely bad news for the Left.

Socialists are snake oil salesmen. They tell the less well off that it's not their fault they're poor, it's all the fault of capitalism, the free market and toffs. This victim narrative infests the country like a virus, scares off wealth creators and makes everybody poorer, which is precisely what the socialists want.

Re: A black day for the low paid...
Infidel, no need to fret - if these no-mark businesses 'can't afford' to pay people at this level then their businesses are not viable anyway. So all these no-mark businesses will go pop, the the exploited workers will be made redundant through no fault of their own and go straight onto universal credit payments with a legitimate reason to claim that there are no jobs out there to take. They get to sit at home courtesy of the taxpayer and our country rids itself of the corporate parasites.

It's a win win situation.

Oh sorry, the 2 grand NI break too.

So we are down to £39.200 worse off this year.

This is raping businesses that the cunt Jeremy Corbyn can only dream of.

After 8

Okay, lets see shall we

1) they have increased my wage bill, with forced pensions, employers NI of £42,000 THIS YEAR ALONE

2) they have cut 2% off my corporation tax bill. Given corporation tax has based on profits and 40% of my profit has disappeared in extra wage costs they have saved me £1200 in corporation tax.

Net effect is i'm £41,800 WORSE OFF. The Labour government never got close to raping my business a tenth of that.

But, I challenge you to explain to me how the above is in any way good for my business. That's 40 odd grand of investment that won't happen because of this.

Yet it has raised the minimum wage for all companies, irrespective of their business model or stage of development.

Re: A black day for the low paid...
Sorry spandex but this government cut corporation tax, gave employers a national insurance allowance and pulled the Labour governments planned national insurance rise.

If you give up a business you run its either poor management or a dead duck. How come so many people can do it well?

Spandex Sidney 9:17 Fri Apr 1
Re: A black day for the low paid...
The problem is that increasing minimum wage and introducing compulsory pensions is that Government expects employers to foot the bill on the hope the economy will improve.

If the economy doesn't improve, many of the small businesses will just give up. Plus us employers have the biggest scam of all, Employers NI. It costs me £1.23 to pay an employee £1, which will probably end up as 80p in their pocket. I would be MORE than happy to just pay the employee an extra 23% and fuck the rest, maybe that will take them out of tax credit poverty?

This government has been the worst for employers for a long, long time.

Re: A black day for the low paid...
I'm with Penners on this why do people feel they are entitled to more than they deserve, nearly everyone starts work on a low wage but if you graft and prove yourself you will move upwards
I'm sure the likes of McDonald's etc reward good staff with management training and better opportunities
